Head Judge - Jeremy Mindell, Director at Primondell

Jeremy is a Director of Primondell, a consultancy specialising in taxation, share scheme advice, reward and lecturing. He has developed a specialised consultancy service for small companies and communication on share schemes for large companies. Prior to his present role, Jeremy worked for Henderson for nearly nine years. While leading the team at Henderson, the company won many prestigious awards for share schemes. Entering these awards encouraged the team to both innovate and strive for ever higher standards.

Before Henderson, Jeremy worked for AMP (Australia Mutual Provident) until it demerged its UK operations. At the end of his time with AMP, he was dealing with demergers and disposals.

Jeremy started his career in taxation with Coopers & Lybrand and for the next 15 years worked in three of the 'Big Four' accountancy firms.

Andrew Pendleton, Professor of Human Resource Management at Durham University Business School

Andrew Pendleton

Andrew Pendleton is Professor of Human Resource Management at Durham University Business School.  Previously he worked at the University of York, where he helped to establish the White Rose Employee Ownership Centre.  He has conducted research into share plans and employee ownership over many years and has written extensively on these topics.  He was a member of the Inland Revenue Advisory Group which helped to develop the Share Incentive Plan (SIP) and Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI).


Mike Hazelgrave, Share Plans expert

Mike has worked in the share plan industry for twenty seven years. As part of his remit as Reward Manager for Asda, he was responsible for delivering various executive and all colleague share plans to a workforce of more than 180,000 colleagues. He was instrumental in developing US share plans for the business following the acquisition of Asda by Walmart. Mike is passionate that share plans are communicated to employees in a way that can be easily understood. He retired from Asda in April 2014.


Nicky Blyth, Share Plans expert

Nicky Blyth

Over the last 30 years Nicky has managed and delivered international share plans for Hanson plc, RSA Group plc and WPP plc.  This extensive experience has covered both executive and all employee share plans, with WPP operating plans in 70 jurisdictions.  As well as helping to streamline the administration and management of share plans, Nicky firmly believes that the right technology can and should also be instrumental in facilitating effective and clear share plan communications.  During her time at WPP she was instrumental in delivering WPP’s online share plan system.  Nicky sees share plans as a means to foster and deliver employee shareholders; something that Nicky strongly believes in.  Nicky retired from WPP in July 2016.
